THOROUGHBRED GIRLS
We are so excited about our group – the Thoroughbred Girls.
This is a group of prominent woman who love racing and interested in making a difference.
We attend race days, events and now we race horses in various racing stables.
Come and race with us.
THOROUGHBET GIRLS
New in 2022 is a keen group of girls learning everything in the racing industry – from reading a form guide, racing conditions, weights, the different races, program for various horses and terminologies used in the racing industry (to name just a few).
The girls will use this information and make informed decisions when putting on a bet. Over the carnivals, the teams compete in our betting competitions.
Thank you to Ladbrokes for their support.
Sharon Lenton
Managing Director & MC Extrordinare
Sharon Lenton has been a pioneer for women in the racing industry for many years. Being one of the first women in racing, after Shelley Hancox, to have a syndicator’s license, Sharon has emerged on her own as a woman who sets goals and then works hard to achieve them.
Attending race meetings every week, Sharon always has a need for hats. Thoroughbred Events Australia was born out of this need and has evolved to give inspiring Milliners a platform to showcase their up and coming couture ranges
